Enzo Fittipaldi da Cruz (born 18 July 2001) is a Brazilian-American racing driver, the grandson of two-time Formula 1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi[1] and brother of racing driver Pietro Fittipaldi, by his daughter Juliana and Carlos da Cruz. ][3] He currently drives for Charouz Racing System in the FIA Formula 2 Championship.

Fittipaldi, grandson of two-time Formula One champion Emerson, went after Theo Porcharire’s car, which had stalled on the grid.
Both drivers were immediately noticed by medical staff and were conscious upon being removed from their cars. He was then taken by ambulance and helicopter to the King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah.
Enzo’s brother Pietro Fittipaldi provided an update on Twitter.
“Hey, thanks for all the messages,” he wrote. “Enzo is awake / alert and resting in the hospital. He has a fracture in his right heel but thankfully is much better than we all expected.
“Thank you to the FIA, the team and all the medical staff here in Saudi Arabia.”
French teenager Porchare tweeted on Sunday night that he is “well globally,” adding: “At the moment I don’t know if it’s the end of the season for me already.
“But the most important is not that, it was really huge and Enzo is injured. I wish him the best of recovery”.
Condition
The FIA has provided an update on the condition of Formula 2 racers Enzo Fittipaldi and Theo Porchare, who were taken to hospital after a crash at the start of Sunday’s feature race in Saudi Arabia.
The statement confirmed that Porchare was discharged from the hospital on Sunday evening after tests showed there were no problems.
Fittipaldi remained in the hospital overnight for observation after a fracture in his right heel and a wound on his left eyebrow, but was said to be “making good progress.”

Enzo Fittipaldi was born to his father, Carlos da Cruz and mother, Juliana.
He was born in Miami in July 2001 and moved from karting to Formula 3 in 2021 with Charouz Racing.
In September, he moved up to Formula 2 for the second half, making his debut at Monza for Czech team Charouz.
He scored his first point in F2 after finishing seventh in Race 2 in Jeddah on Saturday.
