Elias Theodorou, a former Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor, died of cancer at the age of 34.
According to TSN, Theodorou was suffering from Stage 4 liver cancer, but only a few people were aware of his condition.

Theodorou, a native of Ontario, Canada, rose to prominence after winning “The Ultimate Fighter: Nations,” and went on to amass an 8-3 record in the UFC before being unexpectedly released from the Las Vegas-based promotion following a loss to Derek Brunson in 2019.
His Octagon resume includes victories over Cezar Ferreira, Sam Alvey, and Eryk Anders, among others.
Outside of the UFC, he went 3-0, with his most recent victory coming against Bryan Baker at Colorado Combat Club 10.
Released

Theodorou’s representative confirmed the news to TSN.
Theodorou burst onto the world stage in 2014, defeating Sheldon Westcott by TKO to win his season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” He went on to compile an 8-3 record in the Octagon, never losing back-to-back fights and only losing to longtime contenders Thiago Santos, Brad Tavares, and Derek Brunson.
Theodorou was released from his contract by the UFC following his loss to Brunson in May 2019.
He would go on to win three more fights outside of the promotion.
