The Oilers scored twice in 1:05 of the first period, with Foegele ending a 17-game streak of no goals and Norse recording the 50th goal of his career. McDavid took the lead in the third period with his 24th goal of the season as the Oilers improved the season to 25–18–3 under head coach Jay Woodcroft for their second straight win.
