Now, there have been many terrible losses over the past two seasons, and while those losses cannot be forgiven, the past two years have been absurd. COVID-19, opt-outs, injuries, coaching staff changes, more injuries, you name it. To say that this team has a lot to deal with and adapt is an understatement.

Derek Stingley Jr. was ruled out of an illness prior to their loss to Mississippi State in a game in which they desperately needed him and quarterback Miles Brennan played through a traumatic abdominal injury in their loss against Missouri.

That injury would take him out for the season, putting newcomers TJ Finlay and Max Johnson into the mix at some point in the season with an offensive line that struggled.
