Warrant

Earl Thomas: Warrant| Mistress| Ex wife| Arrest warrant

An arrest warrant has been issued for former NFL star Earl Thomas, who says police violated a protective order two or more times in the past year by sending threatening messages about him and his children to a woman.

Online court records for Travis County, Texas show that the warrant, which was issued by a judge in Austin on April 27, is active. As of Friday, Thomas had not been held in prison.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, the arrest affidavit states that Thomas can only communicate with the woman through a co-parenting phone application. The woman has told the police that he will not download the app, contact her over the phone and show the places she frequents.

According to the newspaper, the woman recently alleged that Thomas started threatening her. On April 18, police said Thomas told her he had found two handguns. Reportedly, he later texted: “Waiting on foot I’ll kick ur ass.”

Police in Austin, Texas respond to a call about domestic unrest on April 13 at 3:41 a.m.

The incident was first reported by TMZ Sports.

When police arrived, they saw a woman chasing a shirtless black man with a knife in his hand, with a pistol in his hand, police said. The woman and the man were later identified as Nina and Earl Thomas. The police drew their weapons, ordered the couple to drop to the ground and told them to drop their weapons. According to the police, they complied.

Ex wife

According to court records obtained by the Austin-American Statesman, the warrant was signed on April 27 and Thomas was charged with third-degree felony for at least two breaches of a protective order. That order, issued in May 2021, stated that Thomas could only communicate with Nina Thomas through the co-parenting phone app.

According to the newspaper, she told police that Thomas had recently started threatening her and her children via text messages. In a message, he reportedly told her that he had two guns; In another, he said he would “kick her (her) ass.”

Nina Thomas filed for divorce in November 2020.

Trey Dolezal, a longtime Seattle Seahawks player representing the divorce proceedings, told the newspaper that his client approached the woman because he wanted to spend time with his children.

“They were working together to see their children consciously and collectively,” Dolezal told the newspaper. “I really don’t understand how he could be infringing by working together to make ends meet with his kids.”

Thomas, who hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2019 season, turned 33 on Saturday.

Last month, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time All-Pro told ESPN that he wants to restart his NFL career.

“I’m ready,” said Thomas then. “I’m in shape. My timing is just right – I’m proud of it.”

He stepped away from the NFL after he was released by the Baltimore Ravens on August 23, 2020. The move came two days after he became involved in an on-field brawl with fellow safety Chuck Clark.

Thomas recorded 713 tackles, 30 interceptions, 12 forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries in 140 career games (all starts) with the Seahawks (2010-18) and the Ravens (2019). He was selected by the Seahawks as the 14th overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Earl and Nina Thomas both have conflicts with the law. In April 2020, he was in Austin after pointing a loaded gun at Thomas during a heated argument.
