Back Hump:
He was born with a tumour wrapped around his spinal cord which was operated on during the first few weeks of his life. The tumour was successfully cut out; however, it left Alcott a paraplegic, requiring him to use a wheelchair.
“From day one he was a fighter. You could tell he had that determination to make it, even as a tiny baby,” his father Martin Alcott told 7.30.
He well remembers the day his second son Dylan was born.
“He had a lump the size of my fist on his back and I remember the obstetrician saying, ‘Oh, look, that should be OK, it might just be a lump of fat or something like that’,” he said.
Wife:
Australian tennis champion Dylan Alcott’s girlfriend Chantelle Otten has shared an amusing anecdote about one of the couple’s more intimate moments on Instagram, much to the delight of the pair’s fans.
Otten, a sexologist, has never been shy about sharing the couple’s experiences in the bedroom and her story about the first time the pair spooned in bed was no different.
