Drew Mcintyre vs Randy Orton: Match result| Highlights
Drew Mcintyre defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship in an ambulance match at Clash of Champions on Sunday.
It looked like The Viper was headed for the win, but early interference from Big Show didn’t stop him. Christian, another former victim of The Legend Killer, also made an appearance.
However, Orton countered those challenges and put McIntyre on the verge of being placed inside an ambulance, but Scott stopped the doors from closing and hit his opponent with a Claymore Kick.
The titleholder delivered a punt kick before closing the ambulance doors. The camera then panned to the driver of the vehicle, who turned out to be Ric Flair, another previous victim of The Legend Killer.

Drew Mcintyre defeated Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship on Monday night. McIntyre countered with an RKO and knocked Orton off the ropes to set up a Claymore Kick for the win.
This is not the first time that one of WWE’s top titles has changed hands just days before what is considered to be one of the biggest matches on the Survivor Series card. AJ Styles stripped the WWE Title from Jinder Mahal on SmackDown less than two weeks before Survivor Series 2017.
WWE teased a future confrontation between McIntyre and Reigns when McIntyre appeared on the most recent edition of SmackDown.
Orton is also feuding with McIntyre and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at the same time.
Like The Undertaker, The Fiend is also a character that gets a significant reaction from fans, whether Wyatt has gold on his waist or not. If anything, making him world champion is counterproductive because it presents the problem of finding a sensible way for him to lose without becoming notable for all the wrong reasons.
Removing Drew Mcintyre from the mix potentially allows Orton to move into a solo storyline with Wyatt that doesn’t focus on the championship – which is far more interesting given their past history.
