Trade reaction
When news broke on Thursday that the Utah Jazz had traded Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Mitchell started chirping — but not in a bad way.
He was so excited about the makeup of the deal that he was “screaming around the golf course” he was playing on.
According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, who appeared on ESPN’s Cleveland radio station Friday morning to discuss big business.
“When (Michelle) learned that (Evan) Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland were not in business and neither was Kevin Love, he was shouting around the golf course (because) he was so excited,” Windhorst said. Told.

Cavaliers Trade Grade: A
Let’s start with what the Cavaliers got: a three-time All-Star who has scored 26 points per game on 44/37/85 shooting splits over the past two seasons and averaged 28 points in 39 playoff games, including several posts. -Season game contains more than 50 points. According to Synergy Sports, Mitchell was better than the 80th percentile last season in both pick-and-roll and isolation scoring. In short – dude is a running bucket who can score from all three levels.
Darius Garland was in dire need of help as the team’s only reliable initiator, evidenced by the Cavs’ 20th-place offense last season, and Mitchell would fill that gap immediately. Mitchell isn’t the most natural passer and facilitator, so he’ll be perfectly complemented by Garland, who last season was sixth in the league with 8.6 assists per game and in the 82nd percentile in assets and assists, according to Synergy.

As expected, NBA Twitter exploded after the ‘Spida’ news to Cleveland.
Donovan Mitchell / Darius Garland PR with Evan Mobley combo is ridiculous!!! I
