Moore was fit for the Broncos in Weeks 4 and 5 versus the Ravens and Steelers, respectively, but he failed to secure either of his two goals in that period. Now, the former Seahawks wideout will get a chance to develop into a practice squad.
Moore was released Tuesday by the Broncos, Mike Cleese of 9News Denver reports.
The move was not unexpected after the Broncos signed veteran John Brown last week. Moore was active with the team for two games but failed to receive a reception. The 26-year-old will likely find another boyfriend for his services in the coming weeks.
