Karthik shared a 65-run stand with his vice-captain Hardik Pandya as the duo put together valuable runs in the middle of their 5.3 overs. India scored 56 runs in the first 10 overs and added 113 runs in the last 10 overs as Karthik and Hardik stormed the South African bowling attack.
