Biography:
Gromozis was born in Wuppertal to Greek parents and grew up in Webert. He started his football career in 1984 in the Wellbert neighborhood district with local side TUS Naviges. Four years later, in 1988, Gramozis moved to SSVG Wellbert, where he played for three years. His next and final stop at Wellbert was a two-year stint at Borussia Wellbert. In 1992, Gramozis returned to his hometown. After a year on the youth teams of Wuppertler SV, he moved to KFC Urdingen 05 in 1994.

On 25 January 2014, Grammozis was appointed as an assistant to head coach Thomas Rees for VfL Bochum II. At the start of the 2014–15 season, he took on VfL Bochum’s under-15 juniors at RegionalLiga West, his first youth team.
