Wyatt is constantly being overshadowed by teammate Jordan Davis during the pre-draft process. However, he is one of the best defensive tackles available in this year’s class. Davis blew off the combination with a 10.0 relative athletic score, but Wyatt was almost as impressive. His 4.77 40-yard dash and 7.45 three-cone 6’2 7/8″, 304 pounds propelled him to 9.59 RAS, the third best among DTs in 2022, behind only Davis and Stanford’s Thomas Booker.

Davis is widely viewed as the better Georgia prospect – he is ranked 20th on PFN’s consensus Big Board, while Wyatt is ranked 36th. Still, given the fickle nature of the draft, it’s not inconceivable that Wyatt comes off the board first. He should be highly coveted after posting 2.5 sacks and 7 tackles for losses while displaying impressive versatility in his final collegiate campaign. Let’s check out their best destinations in the NFL.

According to the UGA Police Department report, police responded to a 911 call last Friday afternoon about a dispute between a man and a woman.

The reporting officer said Wyatt repeatedly kicked the door of the woman’s apartment and eventually shook her. Both sides were released without arrest and neither side was “for fear of their safety”.

According to the report, both the parties involved had been living together for a long time, which explains the “family violence” classification of the incident.

According to the report, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Devonte Wyatt for his involvement in the brawl that took place at 11:35 on Tuesday night. Kirby Smart said in a statement Wednesday morning.

Kirby Smart has issued the following statement regarding the arrest of Devonte Wyatt:

“I am disappointed by the misconduct outlined in the incident report. This is not indicative of the behavior we expect from our student-athletes who represent the University of Georgia and our football program. We will address this as appropriate internally. will do.

Wyatt began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College in order to meet the educational requirements to play Division I football. As a freshman, he had 30 tackles, 4.5 tackles for losses and three sacks. Wyatt qualified academically to enroll in Georgia after his freshman season.

Wyatt was part of the rotation of Georgia’s defensive line as a sophomore and as a junior. As a senior, Wyatt started all ten Georgia games and made 25 tackles, two tackles for the loss, and 14 quarterback hurries. After considering entering the 2021 NFL Draft, he decided to use the extra year of eligibility granted to college athletes who played in the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic and return to Georgia for a fifth season. Wyatt was named a First Team All-Southeastern Conference by league coaches and a Second Team All-American by the Associated Press in the 2021 season. On January 15, 2022, Wyatt made the announcement for the 2022 NFL Draft.
