Settlement
Deshaun Watson has settled with the court. The 26-year-old recently topped the NFL’s spotlight after his blockbuster trade from the Houston Texans to the Cleveland Browns, a move the latter offered him a historic new contract despite an ongoing legal battle. As the calendar nears July, however, Watson has chosen to resolve most of the litigation stemming from the massive allegations of sexual misconduct, settling 20 of the 24 cases currently pending, according to Houston attorney Tony Buzby — who represents each of the 24 accused.
As such, each resolved case will be dismissed, as Buzby noted in the following excerpt from its official statement issued on Tuesday.
“Today, I announce that all cases against Deshan Watson except four have been settled. We are working through the paperwork related to those settlements. Once that is done, those particular cases are dismissed. The terms and quantities of the settlements are confidential. We will not make any further comment on the settlement or those matters.”

Deshaun Watson is not currently married but is in a relationship. Brown quarterback Baker Mayfield is dating actress and Instagram model Jilly Anais.
Lawsuits
Lawyers representing the women who accused Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshan Watson of sexual misconduct say 20 of the 24 lawsuits against the player have been settled.
The women have alleged that Watson booked massage therapy sessions with them and then sexually assaulted them. Watson has denied the allegations.
Women’s attorney Tony Buzby said Tuesday that Ashley Solis, the first woman to come out with charges against Watson, has not settled her case. Solis recently appeared on HBO’s Real Sports and said that earlier this year Watson signed a $230 million contract with the Cleveland Browns, which felt like “a big screw”. Buzby said the three other women have not reached an agreement.
Contract
Watson’s $230m deal paid out $9m when the quarterback was signed. They will be paid $55 million a year from 2023 to 2026, whether or not they are suspended by the league.
