NFL star Deshan Watson used “at least” 66 female massage therapists over a 17-month period between 2019 and 2021, a scathing New York Times report revealed.
Watson has been sued by 24 massage therapists for alleged sexual misconduct.
An additional woman sued, but withdrew her suit. Two more physicians filed criminal charges but did not prosecute. Fifteen defended Watson with statements of support. At least four worked with Genuine Touch, a massage firm hired by NFL franchise Houston Texans.
Lawyers for the plaintiffs have identified five additional women during the investigation process, and Jenny Verantes of the New York Times confirmed 15 more women through interviews and record reviews.
The plaintiffs accused Watson of civilian assault during a massage at his home last March. Watson reached out to him on March 28 to schedule an appointment.
