The report contradicts previous claims made by Watson that he booked appointments with 40 different massage therapists during his five seasons with Houston. Verentas found that 66 women were charged between fall 2019 and spring 2021. Some of the 66 women reported similar disturbing behavior from the former Texans quarterback.
Watson is facing 24 active civil lawsuits filed by massage therapists, each of which contains graphic descriptions of sexual harassment and sexual assault that occurred during massage therapy sessions. The details range from Watson allegedly refusing to cover his genitals to the quarterback “touching [plaintiff] with his penis and trying to force her to have oral sex with him.”

More than 20 civil lawsuits have been filed against Deshaun Watson, accusing the newly acquired Browns quarterback of inappropriate conduct and sexual harassment.
Houston attorney Tony Buzbee filed the first three lawsuits in March 2021 related to separate incidents involving allegations by multiple massage therapists. According to ESPN’s Sarah Barshop, Buzbee wrote in a lawsuit that Watson’s behavior is part of a “disturbing pattern of preying on vulnerable women.”
All of the lawsuits have been filed by women who have accused Watson of sexual misconduct ranging from inappropriate touching to forced oral sex.
