Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (4) throws against the Kansas City Chiefs during the first half of an NFL football game on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Las Vegas.
A byproduct of the NFL playing its games in front of few, if any, fans due to the novel coronavirus is that spectators can hear out loud and clear all quarterbacks shouting their calls, cadences and credits. .

Along with all those audibles wrapped up in super-secret code.

And Derek Carr has been the biggest star of this pandemic event.

Carr came up short in his performance with Patrick Mahomes on Sunday night at the empty Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where the Raiders lost a 35-31 thriller to the Kansas City Chiefs.

But the Raiders QB was a social media darling for his audacious audience, especially when he chanted “James Harden!” Before handing over for a 6-yard advantage.

“It’s not just a phase.”

Can we imagine Derek Carr looking on edge like Derek Carr would say this to his family while he listens to Creed over the explosion in his bedroom.

Following this week’s Sunday Night Football match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders, fans online felt just how intense the Chiefs’ ball possession was from the look on Carr’s face.

The power that is in this picture is truly terrifying. Derek Carr has a mission and it looks like it’s world domination.

Of course, fans online have had their fair share of fun too.

Joe Burrow

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills ($7,900)
As the most expensive quarterback on the slate, Allen will be a popular pick in the Saturday DFS lineup. In Week 16, Allen threw for 314 yards and 3 touchdowns in a road victory over the Patriots. These teams also met in Week 13, but there is no point in discussing that game as it was the infamous Wind Bowl.

The Patriots allowed the second-lowest fantasy points for a quarterback this season. However, Allen was the best fantasy quarterback ever. He’s always a safe bet for the lineup and you should be able to stack him with Stephen Diggs ($7,500) and another receiver or Dawson Knox ($5,100).

With that said, Allen projects will be highly rostered and may be a better value with other quarterbacks. You can build a lineup around Allen, but I’d steer clear of the second option in the Saturday DFS lineup.

High School

Carr enrolled as an early-entry freshman for the spring semester at Fresno State, where his brother David also played quarterback in 2009, so that he could participate in spring football with the Bulldogs. Then-Fresno State head coach Pat Hill said Carr, a true freshman, was “in the mix” for the starting quarterback position by mid-July. However, in September, days before the start of the 2009 season, Hill announced that junior Ryan Colburn would start over Carr.

After re-shirting his 2010 season, Carr took over the starting quarterback position for Fresno State in the fall of 2011. [13] During his three years as a starter, he threw 12,843 passing yards and 113 touchdowns. [14]

In the 2011 season, Carr passed for 3,544 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He was among the passing leaders of the Western Athletic Conference in several categories. [15] [16] In the 2012 season, he took 4,104 yards, 37 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He won the MWC Offensive Player of the Year award for the 2012 season. [18] As in the previous season, his passing totals were among the leaders of the Mountain West Conference in several categories. [19]

Carr received the 2013 CFPA Elite QB Award for his performances over three seasons at Fresno State. He was joined by Bakersfield native Philip Thomas as the school’s second CFPA winner.
