The Derby Stakes, also known as the Epsom Derby or Derby, and currently as the Kazoo Derby for sponsorship reasons, is a Group 1 flat horse race open to three-year-old Colts and Phillies in England. It is run each year on the first Saturday of June at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey over a distance of one mile, four furlongs and 6 yards (2,420 m). It was first run in 1780.

The Chris Waller-trained Manzois ($21) ate every bit of 2500m to win the 2022 edition of the Group 1 Victoria Derby.
He was able to turn the tables on Spring Champion Stakes winner Sharp ‘n’ Smart, who saw home in the final furlong, much game in defeat.
Aberfeldi Boy started with a scratch from Letts Rolthedis and went well above his triple figure coats to finish third.
