DeMar Darnell DeRozan (born August 7, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the USC Trojans and was selected ninth overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 2009 NBA Draft. He is a four-time NBA All-Star and a two-time All-NBA team member. He spent nine seasons with the Raptors, including five playoff runs, before being traded to the Spurs in the summer of 2018. DeRozan has played for the United States national team at the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Demar DeRozan has been brilliant in his first season with the Chicago Bulls, and he kicked off 2021 in style, perhaps his best game ever: a buzzer-beating 3-in to stun the Indiana Pacers, 108-106. Pointer. Thanks to DeRozan’s heroics, the Bulls extended their winning streak to six games and went into a tie for first place in the Eastern Conference at 23–10. Back-and-forth after the fourth quarter, the Bulls trailed 104–98 with only two minutes of play. At the time, it appeared they might be in line for their first loss since December 11, but DeRozan had other ideas. The Bulls have since outscored the Pacers 10-2, and Derozhan either scored or assisted in his last seven points. There was an assist from Zach LaVine for a dunk, and then a baseline jumper to make it a one-point play. And finally, game-winners.

The Chicago Bulls will enter 2022, sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference. The Bulls went 23-10 Friday afternoon thanks to a 108-106 win over the Indiana Pacers. It was hardly a sure thing, however, as Chicago needed some heroes from their biggest takeover of the summer to take down their division rivals. After Caris Levert made a pair of free throws with less than a minute to go into regulation, DeRozan buried a pair of buckets to give Chicago a 108–106 win. The first was a two-point jumper that reduced Indiana’s lead by one, and after a missed dunk attempt by LeVert, the Bulls raced to the other side. DeRozan was on hand the whole time and decided he was going to try to win the game on his own.
