Rotoworld:
The Arizona Cardinals received bad news following a second opinion on DeAndre Hopkins’ knee injury.
The star receiver is expected to sit out Sunday versus the Lions and likely additional games due to a knee sprain, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday, per a source informed of the situation. It’s unknown at this stage whether surgery is necessary.
ESPN:
Hopkins suffered the injury late in the Cardinals’ Monday night loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Following an MRI on Tuesday, Nuk sought a second opinion on the knee injury.
Hopkins missed three games earlier this season due to a hamstring injury. He garnered his first double-digit target game of the season in Week 14, catching five of 12 passes for 54 yards. The Pro Bowler’s 2021 campaign still does not include a 100-yard game.
Knee:
The Arizona Cardinals are expected to be without All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for the remainder of the regular season.
League sources told ESPN and NFL Media that Hopkins likely will miss the rest of the season with a sprained knee that he suffered Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams.
However, the outlets reported that Arizona is hopeful to get him back at some point in the playoffs.
Dak Prescott:
Bill Belichick responded to the conditions by grounding his offense. Literally. The Patriots had 49 offensive snaps and ran the ball on 46 of them.
Frustrating for fantasy managers of New England rookie quarterback Mac Jones. A joyous occasion for fantasy managers of Patriots running back Damien Harris.
