North Melbourne have severed ties with senior coach David Noble, which comes into force with immediate effect.

The Kangaroos confirmed Noble’s departure on Tuesday morning after weeks of speculation about his future amid the club’s dreaded 1-15 season, which included a 14-game losing streak.

The call was made by veteran football administrator Geoff Walsh at the club’s football department before concluding his four-week review.

David Allen Noble, 68, passed away on Tuesday, 15 December after a six-month brave battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) with family.

Dave was born on April 10, 1952 in Zanesville, OH to Inez David W. Noble, who was there before his death. He played football for Fairmont West HS and Ohio Northern University and completed his degree at Wright State University. Dave debuts his parks.
