There is no shortage of matchups to avoid in Week 6: Raiders-Broncos, Seahawks-Steelers, Dolphins-Jaguars, Vikings-Panthers and even Packers-Bears are all expected to be low-scoring games and some Can be tough for fantasy players.

Below are the players in each position that you should definitely start with as well as those you should consider sitting in based on matchups, injuries and trends.

Fantasy QB to start
Matthew Stafford, Rams and Giants
Stafford threw 365 yards in Week 5, but just one touchdown and one interception. He has finished as a top 12 quarterback twice this year, which is a bit shocking considering his arsenal of weapons. He will look to bounce back against the Giants’ subpar pass defense, which is allowing for the ninth-most fantasy points in a quarterback this year.

Joe Burrows, Bengals and Lions
Burrow is QB17 this year, but he’s back in the QB1 buzz. His connection with Ja’Marr Chase is electric, although turnover has been a problem this season. This week, Burrow faces the Lions defense that is (at best) in the middle of the road against Pass, and should finish inside the top 12.

The Kansas City Chiefs will activate the run to return Clyde Edwards-Hellier from the injury list for Week 11, according to James Palmer. It looked like they had a chance to play last week, but it’s going to happen this week when the Chiefs take on the Dallas Cowboys.

Kansas City got a big game from Darrell Williams in his slamming of the Las Vegas Raiders last week. Williams spent most of his loss through the air, catching nine passes and one touchdown for 101 yards. It’ll be interesting to see how much work Edwards-Heller will get compared to Williams, but the fact that they’re activating her before their goodbye week should mean they’re pretty much where they are physically. are comfortable.

We should expect Edwards-Heller to play the lead once again and Williams be prepared to sit in most of the fantasy leagues. There may be even more splits in touch this week, but I’d hold off on Williams if that’s possible.

Start

Williams did well to Edwards-Heller’s relief, averaging 13.8 carries and 4.8 receptions per game. He was productive in the Kansas City offense, although he found the endzone only three times in five games. There’s no telling what the workload will be like for Williams with Edwards-Heller, but Andy Reid said the second year running out of LSU looked good in practice.

fantasy start/sit recommendation
The Cowboys rank ninth for opponent rushing yards allowed per game, meaning it is a tough defense to land the ball. Williams is likely to split his workload with Edwards-Heller, so it’s best to run back this week.
