Daniel Taylor Vogelbach is an American professional baseball first baseman for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball. He was drafted in the second round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Chicago Cubs. In July 2016, Vogelbach was traded to the Seattle Mariners and made his MLB debut with them two months later.

The MLB player Daniel Vogelbach has yet to make his girlfriend Kristina Russii, his wife officially. They have been in a romantic relationship for a long period of time without being in the eyes of the media.

Also, Daniel has been sharing pictures of his to-be wife on his official Instagram account. The duo has yet to reveal when and how their romance started. Daniel and Kristina seem happy together looking at their respective Instagram as well.

Vogelbach, acquired on Friday from the Pirates, started at DH and finished 1-for-3 with a walk. His single leading off the fifth was the Mets’ first hit of the game against Joe Musgrove. 

Though Vogelbach was 0-for-7 lifetime against Musgrove, manager Buck Showalter was anxious to deploy his new lefty bat.

Showalter noted that Yankees lefty Jordan Montgomery is pitching against the Mets on Tuesday, and it was important to get Vogelbach involved before he got stale waiting for a chance. 

High School:

Vogelbach attended Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, Florida.
