Did break his neck
Buffalo said in a statement Tuesday morning that Jackson underwent “various tests, which revealed no major injuries to his neck or spine.” Further evaluation of CB is being done on Tuesday.
The fact that he was released less than 24 hours after the injury occurred is a great sign for the former seventh-rounder, who worked his way into the starting role.
High School
Jackson played high school football at Quaker Valley High School because the high school he attended, Cornell High School, did not have a football team. Jackson was an all-state basketball player for Cornell. He committed to Pittsburgh on June 24, 2014, choosing the Panthers over Bowling Green and Duquesne. He committed later that day when Pitt’s coach Paul Crist. After seeing Jackson at Pitt Prospect Camp offered him a scholarship.
College
After playing quarterback in high school, Jackson moved to cornerback in Pitt. [4] He re-shirted his freshman year and played a reserve role mostly in his redshirt freshman year, but then accompanied Pitt to his sophomore, junior and Started every game during the senior season. As a senior, he led Pitt with a 12 pass breakup, and made 43 tackles, three for losses, one interception and one sack assist. After his senior season, Jackson was named to the Second Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference and competed in the 2020 Senior Bowl.
