Daniel Edward Reeves (January 19, 1944 – January 1, 2022) was an American football running back and coach in the National Football League (NFL). During his 38 years in the NFL, Reeves appeared in nine Super Bowls, the third most for an individual. He served as head coach for 23 seasons from 1981 to 2003, primarily with the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons. As a player, he spent the entirety of his eight-season career with the Dallas Cowboys, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 1965. He was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame in 2014.
