Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been fully cleared to return to football and intends to return to the NFL, the 25-year-old confirmed during a media availability Tuesday.

What happened to

Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris had to be taken off the field by ambulance after suffering a neck injury during Sunday night’s home game against the New York Giants at Orchard Park.

With more than three minutes remaining in the second quarter, Harris was injured during a third down play when he was hit by Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke after taking a handoff.

As the game ended, Harris remained on the field, with the players immediately signaling for medical staff to come onto the field.
