Prescott (calf) was a full exercise participant on Thursday, John Machota of The Athletic reports.
Prescott was set to return to action Week 8 in Minnesota, but the Cowboys eventually played it safe and made him passable instead of rolling with Cooper Rush under center. Dallas opened Week 9 prep with Prescott as limited as he had last week, but coach Mike McCarthy told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Clarence E. Hill Jr. that Prescott had no limits on Thursday. Prescott followed through on that statement and is now set to begin Sunday’s game against the Broncos.

Prescott took a positive step forward to start preparing for Week 9 by practicing. A limited base Wednesday, and if he actually upgrades to full activity on Thursday, there’s a good chance he’ll enter the weekend without an injury designation.
