Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have officially agreed to a massive four-year, $240 million contract extension, just ahead of their Sunday win over the Cleveland Browns, according to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
The deal includes a staggering $231 million in guaranteed money and an $80 million signing bonus. The Cowboys later confirmed Prescott’s extension.
After leading Dallas to a 33-17 victory with 179 passing yards and a touchdown, Prescott addressed the media, eager to shift the focus away from his contract. “I hope after today we’re done talking about it and my pockets,” he said via the team website. “Now, we can focus on this team and the success we’re working toward.”
