Home run
The Texas Rangers trailed the Arizona Diamondbacks 5–3 for several innings until shortstop Corey Seager reached the plate in the bottom of the ninth. The 2020 World Series MVP took full advantage of the man at first base, crushing a two-run home run to right field that, without a doubt, complicated things.
Seager had a chance to win it with two runners on in the 10th, but Kyle Nelson was able to get out of the jam by inducing an inning-ending groundout.
Instead, it was ALCS MVP Adolis Garcia who won it for the Rangers.
Garcia, coming off a hit-by-pitch in his first at-bat, hit a walk-off solo home run to right field in the 11th, ending the first extra-inning game of the postseason in dramatic fashion.
