The Cowboys have yet to announce a starting quarterback for Sunday night’s game against the Vikings, but based on the pregame warmup scene, it looks like Rush will start.

The Giants claimed Cooper Rush off waivers. After claiming Rush the Giants and Rush worked out a new contract that is worth $1.25 million for the season. $150,000 is guaranteed including a $100,000 signing bonus. Rush had been a restricted free agent.

In 2010 and 2011, he led his team to back-to-back undefeated regular seasons. 2011, he led his team to the state runner-up title. In the Division 5 regional championship game against Dowagiac Union High School, he set Michigan state records with 5 touchdown passes in one quarter and 8 for the game.

Highlights: 

The Cowboys received three penalties in the fourth quarter on one Vikings drive. Tarell Basham was flagged for roughing the passer, then Randy Gregory received two unnecessary roughness calls.
