Jacked 2021

Conor Mcgregor: Jacked 2021| Is retired| What happened

Conor McGregor continues the healing process after fracturing his tibia/fibula as a result of a freak injury during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier. In a recent photo shared on Instagram, the former two-division UFC champion appears to be completely muscular.

As one of the most famous athletes on the planet, McGregor has amassed countless fans as well as countless dollars. The Irish superstar has faced some hurdles in the UFC lately. After losing a rubber match to Dustin Poirier earlier this year, the Irishman has mostly been on the mend. While McGregor suffered an injured leg, he is making gains in the weight room while watching his newly pumped-up build. Conor McGregor’s protein choices consist mostly of chicken, salmon, and shrimp. Additionally, the fighter uses a wide range of vegetables and fruits throughout his day. Potatoes and eggs are also integral to getting McGregor the nutrients he needs for 2-3 HIT sessions a day in preparation for a UFC fight. A comprehensive view of McGregor’s diet and exercise regimen can be found here. Either way, Conor McGregor is making a profit in the training room by eating right and bulking up.

Is retired

Conor McGregor has announced his retirement from the UFC before returning to the UFC. The 32-year-old former featherweight and lightweight champion released the statement on his Twitter account, where he also announced his last 54 retirements.

McGregor wrote: “Hey guys. I’ve decided to retire from fighting again, just for the freakish. What a ride it has been”.

Following the announcement, MMA fans eagerly await McGregor’s now-mandated return statement in which he will explain the game he needs to give some bo**oks. It’s understood the ‘notorious’ man will spend his latest 24-hour retirement plugging up any old s**te on social media.

What happened

Obviously, no one wants to see a fighter get injured like McGregor. However, this injury prolongs his shelf life as a superstar, while giving him an underlying excuse that sets up a profitable fourth fight with Poirier.

At the very least, McGregor now has two big fights on the horizon for when he can return to action. In addition to a fourth fight with Poirier, he also has a third fight with Nate Diaz that certainly pulled off a massive pay-per-view number. Not to mention that the time McGregor is away will build anticipation for his return.

Perhaps most importantly, McGregor could save his reputation by claiming that Poirier won only because McGregor was injured. And this story would be carried forward by most of his fans despite the fact that Poirier dominated in the first round and was probably heading towards an end unless McGregor drastically changed his approach.

It was clear from the outset that McGregor hadn’t changed much in his attempt to fire a few leg kicks. None of that surprised Poirier, who fired a leg kick of his own that froze McGregor in his track and hit the former two-division champion’s kisser right as a Louisiana fighter.

Once the fight came to canvas, McGregor found himself in a world of trouble. After a failed guillotine attempt, Poirier elbowed and punched McGregor in the face. McGregor didn’t provide much resistance as he smashed one elbow after another, while Poirier remained in a dominant position. This was the situation that feared McGregor’s fans the most, while Poirier seemed completely comfortable taking on the Irishman from inside his guard.

  1. And then the injury happened in the closing seconds of the round when the fighters made it back to their feet.
