190lbs:
McGregor has claimed he currently weighs 190lbs as his return to training continues, which UFC legend Chael Sonnen is not a good sign ahead of his planned lightweight revival next year.
UFC legend Chael Sonnen believes that a step down to the lightweight category next year could be too far and explains his lack of training could be the principle reason for the gain.
Now:
“If you’re not doing our sport, who gives a damn what you weigh? If your calorie deficit to intake got so far out of control, that you’re bigger than you’ve ever been, that’s not a good thing.”
McGregor has admitted he is in “no rush” to stage his UFC comeback but has promised it will be one of the best in history.
Bulked up:
It’s been five months since Conor McGregor suffered a leg break in his trilogy fight with Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier, and if the Irishman’s Instagram is anything to go by, he’s determined to avenge the defeat and regain a fight-night-ready physique as quickly as possible.
Right now, the focal point of McGregor’s sessions are centred on adding mass – we’ve seen him ripping through weighted pull-ups, preacher curls, and dumbbell bench presses on the grid.
Before and after:
The procedure is believed to have been both medically and cosmetically beneficial. Not only does McGregor have all his teeth present, but he also appears to have whitened and cleaned them to improve their look and his overall appearance.
