Fine
Headed by the promise of a memorable NHL debut, young talent Connor Bedard has already made headlines for an unexpected reason.
In a light-hearted but rule-breaking moment, Bedard went onto the ice for his rookie lap during warm-ups without wearing a helmet, violating NHL rules.
As a result of this offense, Bedard faces a $2,500 fine. It is possible that, given the minor nature of the violation, the Chicago Blackhawks, their team, will face penalties.
