Buffalo’s slot wide receiver and Sanders suited up together back in the day… way, way back then.

For two seasons in 2008-2009, Sanders and Beasley were teammates in college at SMU.

Both guys were big-time contributors during those years as well. Each had more than 80 catches combined in those two seasons. Sanders had 98 total in his senior year.

Fantasy:

Bills WR Cole Beasley said he played through a broken fibula during the postseason.

Fantasy Impact

Beasley was on the injury report with a “knee” injury for most of the playoffs. He suffered it in Week 16 and was apparently more impacted by it during the Wild Card Round and Divisional Round. He hauled in 7-of-9 targets for 88 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs, however. Beasley could undergo offseason surgery at some point, depending on how bad the break is.

Contract:

The SMU football team’s buses and airplanes aren’t the only vehicles racking up travel miles on cross-country journeys during the season. Arriving at the game site a couple of days early is a Yukon XL, ferrying some of the Mustangs’ most passionate fans – the Beasley family from Canyon Lake, Texas.
