Covington made her promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 48 on August 23, 2014, against Anning Wang.
She won the fight via TKO with punches in the closing seconds of the first round.
Covington fought Wagner Silva at UFC Fight Night 56 on November 8, 2014. He won the fight via submission in the third round.
On May 23, 2015, Covington faced Mike Pyle at UFC 187, replacing an injured Sean Spencer. He won the battle by unanimous decision.
On December 12, 2015, Covington faced Warley Alves at UFC 194. He lost the fight via submission in the first round.
