Comments

Right after making comments about his former team, the New York Yankees, Clint Frazier was named for the assignment by Chicago.

Clint Frazier commented on his former team, the New York Yankees, but was DFA’d by the Chicago Cubs just before the start of their three-game series.

The timing of the move was certain, given that Frazier had made comments about the Yankees the day before the series’ debut. In fact, Frazier declined to speak to the media only after receiving news that he would be DFA’ed.

What happened to

Health issues happened to Clint Frazier.

Frazier, who suffered an injury due to a wall collision in 2018, suffered another late in the year in 2020.

He said,  “I was severely symptomatic with some of these last issues that I had,” Frazier said. “I was like, ‘We have to pick up the pace. I need help. I need serious f-in help.’ ,

His season ended in August after distancing himself from a rehab game. Frazier lost a significant amount of time with a debilitating medical condition, originally called vertigo, before it was later ruled out. The outfielder, who played five seasons in The Bronx, finally brought some more clarity about what he was experiencing and how it affected him, saying he had “depth-perception issues”.

Clint Frazier is injured and has been sidelined because of appendicitis.

Frazier had surgery on April 22 and did not activate until May 28 after an eight-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa.

According to the Des Moines Register, “I think I’ve had a lot of injuries in my career that are weird baseball injuries,” Frazier said in mid-May. “Like, concussions are not very common in baseball. And then my appendix goes away. I just want to get off the field and not get affected by these injuries that are hard enough to get over.”

Frazier suffered multiple injuries with New York, with whom he played from 2017-2021. Earlier this season, he admitted to hiding his second injury in September 2020 from the Yankees.
