Fox Sports analyst and former NASCAR Cup Series driver Boyer was involved in a car accident in Missouri last week in which he hit and killed a woman, officials said.

Mr. Boyer, 43, “hit the brakes immediately” and called 911 when he collided with the woman while driving on a divided US highway in Ozark, Mo., just before 9 p.m. According to the police accident report, on June 5.

Officials said the front of Mr Boyer’s car was badly damaged and showed “zero” signs of damage after the accident. The police report states that he provided a breath sample that showed his blood-alcohol content was .000 percent.

Mr. Boyer and Fox Sports did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The woman killed has been identified as 47-year-old Mary Jane Simmons of Camdenton, Mo. The police report said she hit the front of the driver’s side of Mr Boyer’s car and then hit the car’s windshield. The report said the impact lifted him more than 260 feet.

Former NASCAR driver and Fox Sports analyst Clint struck and killed a pedestrian at a highway exit ramp in southwest Missouri earlier this month, police said.

According to an accident report from Ozark Police, the accident occurred on June 5 on the ramp of US 54 near Osage Beach, Missouri.

Police said Boyer, a native of Emporia, Kansas, stopped shortly after the collision and called 911. Mary Jane Simmons, 47, of Camdenton, died on the spot.

The crash report said Boyer showed no signs of damage and provided a roadside blood sample that showed no trace of alcohol.

According to the police statement, a crystalline substance was found in a recreational vehicle park with the woman’s belongings and residents, where she was staying, believed she was under the influence of drugs.

Bauer retired in 2020 after winning 10 Cup Series races in 15 years. He’s been a hit in the Fox Sports booth since jumping into that job as a second career.
