When will return

McCaffrey did not require surgery on the injury and is expected to be ready for the 2022 season. There are reports that he is taking part in off-season workouts. It’s worth noting in the last three seasons/injuries, he hasn’t been hurt again and again.

2022 Fantasy Football Outlook
McCaffrey’s injuries over the past two seasons have caused some to fear the draftee to run after Starr. But in the last full season he played, he had the second-most imaginary points in NFL history. He recorded a total of 785 yards and two touchdowns in the seven matches he played last season (he skipped two games early because of his injuries). While he may not be the top RB draft in the Fantasy Football League this year, he is likely to remain at the top level this season.

Injury history

Christian McCaffrey is officially out for the rest of the 2021 NFL season. He suffered an ankle injury during a Carolina Panthers game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 12. After the game, he was placed on injured reserve for the second time this season. According to NFL rules, a second visit to the injured reserve list comes with the requirement to remain there for the rest of the year.

Obviously this is a huge loss for the Carolina Panthers. They are currently in the running for the playoffs competing for a wild card spot. Christian McCaffrey is their best player and one of the top weapons in the entire NFL. He missed five games earlier this season with a hamstring injury and returned three weeks ago. The Panthers went 1-4 without him in those five games.
