Christian Nicolas Braun is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks, and was a starter on the team that won the 2022 NCAA Championship.

The 6-foot-7, 218-pound, 21-year-old graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School, Braun, was the 21st overall pick in a two-round draft held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. He was joined by teammate Ochai Agabaji, who finished 14th overall in the first round.
Is a senior
On April 24, 2022, Brown announced for the 2022 NBA Draft, retaining his college eligibility. On May 25, 2022, he confirmed that he would remain in the NBA draft and would skip his senior season.
Father
Braun’s parents are Lisa and Donnie Braun. He has two siblings Parker and Landon; He is very close to both of them. His entire family is very enthusiastic about him as most of them were or are athletes. His father, Donnie used to be a former walk-on in Kansas and later, he relocated to St. Louis. His mother, Lisa, was a three-time All-Big Eight Conference selection in Missouri from 1987 to 91. Thus, it is not surprising that he became an athlete.
Siblings
Christian Braun has two brothers, Parker and Landon. Brother Parker played basketball for two seasons in Missouri and is now in Santa Clara.
