Highlights:
The Indiana Pacers can be deemed as the quintessential “play it safe” organization. Known for their tank-less approach and fleeting, yet regret-filled title windows, the Blue and Gold has never been one to go full throttle on any direction they’re taking.
The Golden State Warriors had the seventh and 14th overall picks in the first round, and they drafted Jonathan Kuminga (seventh overall) and Moses Moody (14th overall).
Warriors:
The Warriors liked Chris Duarte a lot, wanted to draft the Oregon guard with the second of their two lottery picks, and were displeased when he no longer was available.
They planned to use their No. 14 overall pick on Duarte, but the Pacers denied that opportunity by selecting him with the No. 13 pick.
The Warriors were crestfallen, multiple league sources said, but used the No. 14 pick to select Arkansas guard Moses Moody.
Girlfriend:
Sylvia Velazquez
Sylvia Velazquez has a son with Chris and she is a businesswoman. She and Chris Duarte met through an introduction by mutual friends and became lovers. Sylvia Velazquez is aged 24 years and she is a Puerto Rican international.
