Practice report
Greg Bell is expected to decide on the timing of Carson’s (neck) game for Sunday’s game in Green Bay, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
The 27-year-old returned to practice this week after sitting out the last four games with a neck injury, but has yet to fully prove in practice that he is ready for sporting action. Carson will need to be activated from injured reserve before Saturday’s roster deadline to have a chance to follow suit on Sunday, otherwise his potential return will be pushed to Week 11.Seahawks’ Chris Carson: Can play if practice goes well

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Carson (the neck) is no longer suffering from discomfort, but still needs to be assessed throughout the week of practice in order to keep injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s game in Green Bay, Michael-Shaun Duggar get a chance to return. Athletic report.
The Seahawks are hoping Carson can make it back as early as Sunday, although he will have a 21-day window to reinstate him to the active roster after being named to return from the IR. All results appear to be in play for Carson, who could start this Sunday if practice goes well, while a blowout could send him into the season-ending edition of IR. There will be no official practice status for Carson on Wednesday (or Thursday and Friday, in all likelihood), as he is still on injured reserve and does not need to be active until 4 p.m. on Saturday. ET to play this weekend.

The Seahawks will return to practice on Wednesday, leaving behind Chris Carson, who missed the last four games due to a neck injury.
Another key piece of the Seahawks offense is returning to practice this week, with Chris Carson named to return ahead of Wednesday’s practice.
Carson, who has missed the last four games with a neck injury, joined quarterback Russell Wilson and receiver D’Escridge to return to practice this week after spending time on injured reserve.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said goodbye last week, saying that Carson “wants to go for it next week … he’s really determined to get it done.” And while a return to practice doesn’t guarantee Carson will play Sunday when the Seahawks travel to Green Bay, it is a positive move as he bounces back from a neck injury.
Through four games before injury, Carson ran for 232 yards and had three touchdowns on 54 carries.

Before securing approval for the November 14 matchup, Carson must first clear several medical hurdles. After all, Carroll said as recently as Friday that Carson could be in danger of missing the season. A neck injury in the opening race has sidelined him since week 4. Quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) is also a candidate for withdrawal from injured reserve before the game at Green Bay.
