Qualifying run
Team USA’s Chloe Kim, the defending gold medalist in the women’s snowboard halfpipe, scored an impressive 87.75 on her first run in the qualifying round.
Kim was second among 22 contestants who dropped for the first run.
Each athlete has two runs to score the maximum possible points in the qualifying round. 12 out of 22 athletes will qualify for the finals.
