Chet Holmgren counted only four players on the opposing team. It was the first day of the 2019 SC30 camp, and coaches were rewarding young players with a race after a morning practice. As Holmgren’s teammates matched up with a man for guard, they waited patiently for the fifth player to arrive. He saw the name of the camp, Stephen Curry, on the court. Holmgren was going to ask him where the last player was, but then he realized: Curry was not on the court to coach. He came there to play.
