Charles Wade Barkley (born February 20, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player and current television analyst. Nicknamed “Sir Charles”, “Chuck”, and “The Round Mound of Rebound”, Barkley played 16 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for three teams. Although less than the usual forward power, he used his strength and aggression to become one of the NBA’s most influential rebounders. He was a versatile player who had the ability to score, make plays and defend. He was an 11-time NBA All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA team member, and the 1993 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP). During the 50th anniversary of the NBA, Barkley was named one of the 50 greatest players in the league.[2] He was again named among the 75 greatest players in NBA history for the league’s 75th anniversary.

Charles Barkley is no stranger to having a good time.

The big guy is often inside the NBA pulling all kinds of practical jokes (even while being the victim of some of them) with his friends, Shaq and Kenny Smith. Barkley definitely has thick skin, and he certainly has an amazing sense of humor.

A few weeks ago, we watched the Hall of Famer-turned-Analyst dance while his alma mater, Auburn, Men’s headed to the NCAA Tournament. Barkley began jamming to the Village People’s “YMCA” as soon as Duke (the favorite coming out four-and-a-half points) took on North Carolina in the Final Four.

Charles Barkley will no longer be a member of the “NBA on TNT” panel.

During a conference call Tuesday announcing TNT’s broadcast schedule for All-Star Weekend, the Hall of Famer announced that he plans to continue working as a broadcaster for two more years. After his current contract with Turner Sports expires, he will “probably” retire.

Barkley said, “It’s been a great thing. I love Ernie [Johnson], Kenny [Smith], [Shaquille O’Neal] and everyone who works with us.” “But I don’t feel the need to work until the day I die. I don’t, man. If I end my contract I’ll be 61.”

Earlier last year, Silhouette donned the OG “Varsity Purple” plan for another retro launch since 2015. Aside from the primary iteration, Barkley’s known silhouettes have been seen on shelves quite a few times over the years as the sportswear giant has rolled them in multiple productions such as “USA,” “Cool Grey” and “Triple Black.”

Back in the 1992–93 NBA season, All-Star power forward “Sir Charles” was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Suns and went on to claim the MVP title as he won the NBA-best team with a 62–20 record. had led. Although Barkley only spent four seasons with the Suns, he consistently made headlines as he earned several All-NBA and All-Star honors during that period.

Opting entirely for a white tumbled leather build, this classic 1994 installment reveals black mesh punctures in the laterals and medials for ventilation, while black accents are found on the rubber eyes, sock liner, heel pull tab and front of the Barkley. Huh.
