Charles Wade Barkley (born February 20, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player and current television analyst. Nicknamed “Sir Charles”, “Chuck”, and “The Round Mound of Rebound”, Barkley played 16 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for three teams. Although less than the usual forward power, he used his strength and aggression to become one of the NBA’s most influential rebounders. He was a versatile player who had the ability to score, make plays and defend. He was an 11-time NBA All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA team member, and the 1993 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP). During the 50th anniversary of the NBA, Barkley was named one of the 50 Greatest Players of the League.[2] He was again named among the 75 Greatest Players in NBA history for the league’s 75th anniversary.

As for forward power, Barkley had an extremely versatile offensive game. He was not considered a great player on the defensive end. He is known as Chuck Barkley by many of his friends.
Barkley had several nicknames during his college and pro career, making him one of the basketball players, and the person with the most surnames. Some other nicknames include “The Chuckster” and “The Chuck Wagon”. Barkley is considered one of the best rebounders in the history of the game.
Many see him as the greatest player to ever win an NBA championship during his career, although others argue for players such as Karl Malone, John Stockton and Patrick Ewing. Often considered the best power forward in the league (NBA), his authoritarian views did not agree with him. He is an analyst on the television show Inside the NBA. The program features host Ernie Johnson along with analysts Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neill.
Commercials
Former basketball player Charles Barkley welcomes customers to Chuck Cuts, a barbershop that offers bonus miles on every haircut to those with a Capital One Venture Card. Samuel L. Jackson, who is sitting nearby, rightly announces that everyone in the barbershop is bald. However, Charles begs to differ, saying that everyone in the shop is sporting the signature March Madness hairstyle. At this time, Jennifer Garner enters the styling chair and claims she’s just looking for a trim—though when other clients came in for something similar, they ended up with the March Madness hairstyle anyway.

Dix Sporting Goods, which saw e-commerce soar during the pandemic, wants to remind consumers that Dix.com still has their back, even if they return to pre-pandemic shopping behavior.
For the first time ever, the retailer is running a series of dedicated ads to its e-commerce site and mobile app. Charles Barkley partnered with the retailer in the campaign, which is the Basketball Hall of Famer’s second in line with the brand.
Ed Plummer, chief marketing officer, wants Dick to emphasize his online option after seeing success during the early months of the pandemic.
“We are the online destination for sports gear, and we can get to you easily and quickly,” Plummer said. Indeed, during the pandemic, the retailer invested in new innovations including curbside pickup for online orders and improved processes around out-of-stock communication for customers. The strategy resulted in a massive increase in digital sales, as e-commerce doubled in 2020 at Dick’s.
