Foxboro police
According to newly released police documents, shirtless Chandler Jones got down on his knees behind the Foxboro Police Station Sunday morning and appeared to “actively pray or worship” as officers approached.
Documents shed some light on what happened to the Patriots defensive end after a Foxboro police officer deleted parts of the official police log about the encounter, which may have violated public records law. Police have called the incident a “medical emergency.”
In a memo to Chief Edward T. O’Leary, Officer David J. Foscaldo said that at 7:40 a.m., a large black man wearing sweatpants and no shirt walked into the parking lot.
“In a very hasty and disorganized manner, I saw this man randomly run away from the part of the parking lot where our police cars are parked,” Foscaldo wrote. “This guy suddenly made a ‘B-line’ for the back door of our police station.”
Suddenly, Foscaldo wrote, the man sat down on his knees, put his hands behind his head and held the position.
“It was as if this man was trying to surrender (he was literally ‘stiff as a board’/he was both straight and stiff),” the officer wrote.
Brother
Chandler, John and Arthur Jones are all brothers. In a bizarre turn of events, Chandler Jones, brother of UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones, cried after the topic of Aaron Hernandez came up.
Chandler Jones was talking to his fans when he was asked about Aaron Hernandez. Jones, a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, was formerly teammates with Aaron Hernandez when they both played together for the New England Patriots.
Jones spoke to his fans, saying: “Wait, they don’t know what happened to Aaron Hernandez and Josh McDaniels? Y’all thought Chico (Hernandez) killed himself in jail? Y’all thought my n***a Chico killed himself in jail killed?”
At the end of the clip, Jones begins to cry and is overcome with grief. His voice begins to break while he cryptically hints that Josh McDaniels had something to do with Aaron Hernandez’s death.
Aaron hernandez
NFL player Chandler Jones, who has made several strange social media posts in recent weeks, went live Thursday to film himself discussing his former Patriots teammate Aaron Hernandez, before breaking down and crying hysterically .
“Oh, don’t you all know what Josh McDaniels really did to Aaron Hernandez?” Jones asks in the clip, referring to the former Patriots assistant coach. “If y’all don’t know what really happened to Aaron Hernandez… then did y’all think Aaron Hernandez killed himself in jail?”
As TMZ reports, the 33-year-old former All-Pro defensive end covered a variety of topics during the 25-minute stream, including knowledge of government secrets, the Illuminati, and ISIS.
At one point in the video Jones also converses with his neighbor, explaining that he is trying to protect the community and inviting the man over for gumbo.
Finally, Jones starts crying after bringing up the late Aaron Hernandez, whom he calls “Chico.” Hernandez — who played with Jones for the New England Patriots in 2012 — was found dead in his prison cell in 2017 while serving a life sentence for the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd.
