Ranking
Casper Roode turned professional in 2015, but in 2016 he began his climb to the top of the ranking pile. In the same year, he started playing in the ITF Futures tournament.
His good performances at the Futures tournament – which included two title wins – earned him a wildcard for the ATP 250 event in Chengdu, where he lost in the first round.
However, he finished the year with a respectable 225. And things will only get better next year as he made it to the top 150.
