Mother
Lele Ruud is a celebrity mother who happens to be the mother of super talented Norwegian professional tennis player, Casper Ruud. She is not only a celebrity parent but also a celebrity spouse who happens to be the wife of a Norwegian former tennis player who turned professional in 1991, Christian Ruud. Little is known about Lele since she has chosen to live a private life regardless of her status. It is not clear the number of children she has given birth to, however, she has been married to her husband for more than two decades now since they got married in 1999.
Coach
Casper Ruud has made quite a splash at the French Open 2022. He was not able to go past the 4th round at any Grand Slams and he just flew past the competition to enter his first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros. The Norwegian is a clay-court specialist and was always expected to make deep runs at Roland Garros, but was never made it past 3rd round until now. He has won 7 of his 8 ATP titles on clay.
Father
Ruud was born in Oslo, Norway, on December 22, 1998. Christan Ruud, a former ATP pro, is Casper’s father. Christian Ruud began his professional career in 1991 and retired in 2001, with a career-high ranking of No. 39, the highest by any Norwegian player until Casper broke the record in February 2020. Casper Ruud, unsurprisingly, did not have to seek far for a coach as his father, Christian, is also his coach. He has two sisters, Caroline and Charlotte, and his mother’s name is Lele Ruud. Little is known about Lele since she has chosen to live a private life regardless of her status. However, one thing that is known is she has continuously supported her son throughout his whole journey.
Dad
Casper Ruud is into the US Open quarterfinal where he takes on Karen Khachanov. The 23-year-old is the fifth seed in New York this year, and is the highest-ranked Norwegian tennis player in history.Ruud made the final at this year’s French Open where he lost in straight sets to Rafael Nadal. His toughest test at Flushing Meadows so far came in the the round of 16 against Tommy Paul. He defeated the American in a five set match lasting almost four and a half hours. He followed up that with a win over Italy’s Matteo Berrettini.
