Snap Count Today:

The most nerve-wracking snap count in league history is over, after Carson Wentz reached his 2021 percentage threshold, ensuring Philadelphia receives a 2022 first-round pick.

When the Eagles traded Wentz in the offseason, the team received a conditional second-round rounder in 2022 that would become a first-round pick if the quarterback takes 75% of the Colts’ regular-season offensive snaps or 70% if they make the playoffs.

Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon and Colts quarterback Carson Wentz had an exchange of words following a play. Wentz came off the Colts bench to exchange words with Judon. DeForest Buckner was able to separate the two before anything got out of hand.

Stats Tonight:

In what has been a game in which both quarterbacks have struggled, defense has managed to rule the day. Physicality was a theme on Saturday night, on both during and after each play. But it seemed the emotions overflowed, even after the whistle.

For one, in 2020 with the Eagles, Wentz tied for the most interceptions of the season with Broncos quarterback Drew Lock. They both had 15 interceptions. Wentz also was sacked 50 times and had six fumbles. Wentz’s 50 sacks was the most in the NFL last year.
