The Carlton Football Club was Founded in 1864, the club competes in the Australian Football League (formerly the Victorian Football League), and was one of the competition’s eight inaugural member clubs in 1896. History
Carlton’s final hopes have been fulfilled after losing to the injured West Coast Eagles at the SCG on Sunday 14.11 (95) to 10.13 (73). The Eagles entered the match without several stars due to injury, but were still able to beat the Blues and secure their seventh win of the season, cementing their place in the top eight.
Carlton is due to say goodbye next week before taking on Greater Western Sydney, which is currently scheduled for GIANTS Stadium.
Venue
There may be no AFL games in Victoria next weekend with Carlton already told to stay in Sydney, and Melbourne’s blockbuster against Brisbane on the move.
The Blues’ road trip to New South Wales is set to be extended, with the club reportedly told it will ‘host’ West Coast at the SCG next weekend.
Odds
At the time of writing this we still don’t know where this game will be played but it’s looking likely that this game will be shifted to Sydney.
Both teams are struggling at the moment with the Blues unable to beat teams above them and West Coast just in a form slump.
This is a real toss of the coin match, I’m not sure which team this favours if it’s at the SCG but given the Blues played their last week I’ll lean towards them
