Contract:
Caris LeVert has earned a huge raise on his 25th birthday, agreeing to a three-year, $52.5 million extension with the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The new deal counts will kick in for the 2020-21 season.
Contract: | 3 yr(s) / $52,500,000 |
Average Salary: | $17,500,000 |
Guaranteed at Signing | $52,500,000 |
Signed Using: | Rookie Extension/Bird |
Free Agent: | 2023 / UFA |
Injury:
Indiana Pacers PF Domantas Sabonis has been ruled out for Thursday night’s game vs. the Golden State Warriors due to an ankle injury. PG Malcolm Brogdon and SG Caris LeVert are both listed as questionable to play.
Brogdon is dealing with an Achilles injury while LeVert has a calf issue. The Pacers are already big underdogs against the Dubs on Thursday, entering at -11 on the spread.
Good:
If Brogdon and LeVert are both out, this opens up a ton of value on Indiana. No player on the Pacers would be priced higher than $4,900 on DraftKings if those two end up sitting.
Chris Duarte ($4,300) could end up being chalk. Torrey Craig ($3,800) and Oshae Brissett ($3,700) are also good plays regardless of the status of Brogdon and LeVert, since we know Sabonis is out.
Justin Holiday ($4,900) is the other player to consider, simply knowing he’s going to have to play a ton of minutes. Really, anyone on the Pacers will be a strong value. Holiday and Goga Bitadze ($3,700) will give you the most potential leverage in tournaments.
Defense:
Deandre Ayton remains out for the Suns after suffering an ankle sprain against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. Ayton has already missed one game this week with the injury and JaVale McGee and Bismack Biyombo will fill in at center.
Stephen Curry is not listed on the injury report after injuring his finger in their previous game, but Otto Porter Jr. will rest with a sore foot.
Splits:
The 27-year-old immediately returned to form once he made his Pacers debut and has remained a solid secondary scorer in 2021-22.
He’s averaging 18.1 points, 4.2 assists and 3.5 rebounds. A stint in health and safety protocols cost him two weeks of action this month, but he’s returned for two 20-point efforts in his last three contests.
Wife:
He is currently single. He is not dating anyone. We don’t have much information about He’s past relationship and any previous engaged. According to our Database, He has no children.
